Friday Feelings As The Autumn Comes
As the Autumn time comes along the darkness brings back those bogey beasts that haunt us all. This is the time of the year when we all revisit those frightening spectres that will haunt us. Time to sleep with the lamps on.
This reminds me of Rupert Murdoch. You know that troll haunting the internet world. Murdoch is after the online news people and his flag-ship ”Times” is now only available if you pay Mr Murdoch your weekly monies. It seems like the paywall move has resulted in a loss of about 85 % of the readership. Murdoch, however, remains lurking behind the scenes and waiting to pounce again soon to devour his prey. His prey? Yes. That's us.
Advertising has just about gone away from the Murdoch paywall Times. This is because there are so few people that will pay for his online news site. But Murdoch remains in the dark shadows just waiting for the right time to gobble up those little people. Murdoch is the bogey man with a very cunning plan.
Soon Murdoch will make a big deal and leap out from the forest. He will bring together all the dark forces and the bogey beasts and hit us helpless folk like we have never been hit before. In fact Murdoch is ready to eat us up for his supper. You see, he does not care too much for readership numbers for his Times online ragsite. He is planning bigger bytes at the cake. His, nearly ready, package deal is truly frightening for the freedom of the press. Only the bloggers can resist. Best we all keep our internet lights on tonight and all through this dark time.
Beware the bogey man cometh!
In the USA bogey beasts are also meeting up and getting ready to haunt us. Republican sounds are getting heard from the wilderness. The sounds are scary. After the total failures of both Iraq and Afghanistan wars the hawkish beasts are gathering up again. They need another big war. Murdoch agrees. This is the time for the big action.
The dark forces of evil do begin to come out in September.
It used to be the case that the forest was a place for safety for Finns. It was a place to hide and to live and to stay away from the beasts of the city. Alas. That time of the forest being a place of safety is gone. Today, in Finland, we have nasty beasts lurking in the forests. The $afety is within the big $ity. The forests have changed and the people that hide in those forests have changed too.
The only advice for Finns that want to sleep well this Autumn is this : keep your night-lights a'glowing. Avoid the bad darkness.
But there are nasty things lurking around right now. SO BEWARE. (that is, if you are, in any way, a democrat)
If you keep your night-lights glowing you might spot those bogey beasts before they surprise you. But if you are surprised after the next elections in Finland then do not say that I did not warn you. If you keep your lamps glowing you will hear just what is being planned for ”after the next elections”. Beware.
BTW: If you think that my attempt at a photo is rather poor or even awful then think of this. What Finns may be voting for in the next election will not be what they will get. I heard this from a troll at the bottom of my garden. So there.
