Snow White Fingers Sticking To The Trees
When the snow white fingers stick to the trees
It is time to think and think again.
It is time for heavy, heavy, stuff stuff,
Not fluffy, fluffy fluff stuff.
Heavy stuff
Thinking time, I say.
Forget your fluffy time
Leave them to your dreams.
The roof of our house begins to weep
As the creeping heavy-ness beckons.
When the snow white fingers hang and stick
Take care.
Take care when the pure and white mittens
Stick,
To the trees
To the roof
To the very fabric
Of our Being.
Take care when the white fingers stick to trees
Take care when the snow-white pure fingers hang.
Take care when the heavy-ness hangs and sticks.
