England Knows The Ball Is Over
The England football team are but a small mirror of the broken society that is England today. The ball is over. The fact is that they did not return home before midnight. The false dream was lost. The fairytale exposed. All that is left is the memory of hype and riches for the few that do so little for the most.
The England football ”team” returns home now in their fancy pinky coach that goes nowhere.
Let us make no mistake about all this. The real content of the football played by England has been pathetic. The images have been everywhere from wild and warlike through to the kinds of sensationalism that makes a good pay day for tabloid newspapers, lazy thinking readers and big banking cowboys. All in all it has been mere hype that pays well.
The fancy dress ball is over the line now. The image has collapsed. But it paid well during the big wet dream.
The signs are that even the most delirious followers and the dilettantish performers begin to see this now. It matters not if it is the football or the communities, business or the media, the fact remains that the good life does not come from a mix between playboy bankers and world cup wankers.
It is true that the playboy bankers have made a few big fortunes from fooling the population. It is true that the world cup wankers have made millions from sensational hype and tripe. Oh yes this is a fact. Yet the ball is over the line now. The fairytales are exposed and the false game is over.
OK, this will not happen overnight. This end of the fancydress ball will take some time yet to cement itself. But today everyday folk can, and quite rightly, see the link between the playboy bankers and world cup wankers. It is all the same story. The mirrors are everywhere.
You may fool many people all of the time but rarely can you fool all the people all of the time for very long.
If Finland can learn any lessons from this German way, beating the English way, today, then it is this. Keep your football alive and well in both democratic and human ways. Avoid too much media hype and false banking images. In fact cut all the crap. Keep your feet on the ground. If you do not then make sure you get home before midnight!
To keep the feet on the ground is to understand the basics of the game. The big basics. Germany shows this good understanding. England lost it many years back.
Germany 4 England 1? Am I talking here about world cup wankers or playboy bankers, or...? Maybe I talk about the big basics. You know. Those basics that make up real life and the real game.
We have in Finland many young folk that may do well with the game of football. Oh how I wish them well. But please do not follow the hype and the tripe of a UK system that is based upon false images and lazy intelligence. Let us allow our young Finns to play and then to love to play with talent, with skill, with adventure and with love again and again.
